Are you Hiring?

Can I view the Current Budget? 

The current budget, as well as past year's financial information, is available online, through the Finance Division.

How do I Request an Incident Report? 

Visit the Incident Reports page for the form and instructions.

Incident Report requests are processed within 7 days and the cost is $5 per report.

What if I don't have Insurance and Cant Afford to Pay My Ambulance Bill? 

Metro Fire offers assistance to our low-income community members who cannot afford to pay the costs associated with their bill for ambulance services. Please read our policy, and if you qualify, complete the application for low-income assistance.

Is Metro Fire my Fire Agency? 

Metro Fire serves the cities of Citrus Heights and Rancho Cordova as well as the communities of Antelope, Arden/Arcade, Carmichael, Elverta, Fair Oaks, Florin, Foothill Farms, Gold River, Mather, McClellan, North Highlands, Orangevale, Rancho Murieta, Rio Linda, and unincorporated areas of Sacramento County.

How do I file a complaint against a Metro Fire Peace Officer? 

Penal Code Section 832.5 requires the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (District) establish a procedure to investigate complaints from the public against District employees employed as District Peace Officers. Metro Fire’s Fire Investigator IIs are employed as District Peace Officers. Citizens desiring to initiate a complaint a District Peace Officer are encouraged, but not required, to complete and personally sign the Citizen Complaint Form available on the District’s website or at any of our public counter areas. The procedure for submitting the complaint can be viewed in the District’s Complaints Standards and Procedures Policy.

When & where are Board Meetings? 

Metro Fire's Board of Directors meet the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00PM, unless otherwise posted. They meet in the Boardroom (Room 310) at District Headquarters located at 10545 Armstrong Ave, Mather CA 95655.

Where are agendas posted? 

Agendas are posted 72 hours prior to each meeting at District Headquarters and on this website. Visit the Board of Directors page for links to the Meeting Agendas & Minutes.

Can I read minutes of past meetings? 

Yes. Minutes are posted on this website on the Board of Directors page, under Meeting Agendas and Minutes.

Who is my representative on the Board? 

Each Board Member is elected by the voters within a geographical area, or division, of Metro Fire's operational area.  There are nine Board Members representing the citizens within our jurisdiction. View the Division Boundary Map to see the 9 different divisions; click on each to see the Board Member for the area as well as a larger image of the area covered.
